Scripture Song of Psalm 61:1-4
“Hear My Cry, O God”
Commentary on Psalm 61:1-4
by Living Faith Fellowship
There are those who put their trust in God, yet encounter times of testing that simply overwhelm the heart. The Psalmist said "Thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress." (Psa. 4:1) Though we may not realize it, the trials we endure are really precious opportunities that give us cause to seek His face more fervently, and to find protection from the ravages of this world in the secret of His presence. (Psa. 31:20) Under the wings of the Almighty, we are safe and secure.
