Scripture Song of I Corinthians 2:9

“Eye Hath Not Seen”

Commentary on I Corinthians 2:9

by Living Faith Fellowship

It has been typical of man through the ages to build for the future - do without now, but have a good deal stored up for the long term; save ten dollars today and retire on a million. Yet a far better future has been offered those who are willing to extend the reaping beyond our meager threescore and ten years into eternity. Though we may not realize the growth of our account in Heaven, God says He has prepared for us far more than our minds can conceive.

While earthly treasures are not only subject to natural decay (Matt. 6:19), but are destined to be burned up (2 Pet. 3:11), our heavenly rewards are secure, and their benefits beyond our imagination. Which do you think is the better investment?
