"For Mine Eyes Have Seen Thy Salvation..."

Luke 2:30-32

30. For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
31. Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
32. A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

Commentary

Indeed the birth of Jesus was not done in a corner; He was born and raised and commissioned by God before the face of all people. What joyous hope for those of us born Gentile to be included in this salvation aforetime only offered to Israel.
