"But Now, O Lord, Thou Art our Father..."

Isa. 64:8

  1. But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Commentary

If we see ourselves rightly as a lump of clay in need of the Potter's hand, we can simply yield to Him as He molds us and makes us into that entity of beauty which He has planned. Our work of faith is to be lined up with Him in every respect and trust in the work that He is doing, including the job on us.
